CLIENT: AVIVA – UNIT 12, CRAWLEY LEISURE PARK

SCOPE OF WORKS:

The project consists of the construction of a single retail pod on a previously undeveloped plot within Crawley Leisure Park, with incoming mains service heads and foul drainage points. The unit has been left in shell condition for fit-out by the tenant ‘Slim Chickens’.

Warranties provided by the sub-contractors include:

  • Steelwork, including steelwork connections
  • Roof coverings of all types
  • Cladding, curtain walling, etc.
  • Windows and external doors
KEY PROJECT CONSTRAINTS:

Live environment:

The leisure park remained live throughout the works.  Careful planning was required of works & deliveries, specifically taking into consideration school term breaks, when the park is at its busiest.

Particular hazards and risks, such as excavations, were monitored carefully, and access to the site was maintained in a secure condition at all times.
