CLIENT: CO-OPERATIVE GROUP LIMITED

SCOPE OF WORKS:

Over the last six years, Leslie Clark have been appointed by Co-Operative Group Limited as Quantity Surveyors on a selection of new store acquisition projects.

Some examples of the most recent stores we’ve had the pleasure of working on are Co-Op stores in Falmouth, Newcastle Emlyn, Wouldham and York.

Leslie Clark are typically involved in the fit-out works from pre-contract acquisition stage through the delivery phase on-site and finally agreement of final accounts.

This includes working up the initial feasibility estimates alongside the Acquisition managers and pre-con team to inform the viability of a particular site.

Upon handover to the delivery team, Leslie Clark will then negotiate and agree tender costs with the allocated Main Contractor for the shopfitting elements, together with obtaining quotes from the Co-Op directly employed suppliers so that orders can be placed to meet agreed project timescales.

Once on site, Leslie Clark are responsible for reporting on project costs and adjustment of purchase orders with direct suppliers to reflect instructed changes. Following completion on site, Leslie Clark will then agree the Main Contract final account and reconcile and close out all outstanding orders.
